Do you currently work or want to work in the community services industry? The unit defines the necessary knowledge and skills required to direct and monitor medication according to the organization’s regulations and legislation. Learners will understand the policies and practices to work effectively in the professional field. The unit applies to the healthcare workers operating in the relevant authority. Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements, however all students must:

  • Be 18 years or over
  • Have the physical capacity to work as an Individual support worker
  • Pass a National Police Clearance
  • Posses Literacy, Language and Numeracy Skills at ACFS level 3,

Course Structure

WHAT IS RPL?

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the procedure involving a formal system that recognizes your existing knowledge and skills regarding the course.
